Whoever thinks the EPL(English Premium League) is the league of the Past may hold his/her thought.
After the dismal performance of England in 2010 World Cup , some soccer fans have second thought about the English Premium League.
In the likes of Yana Toure, David Silva and Xavier Hernandez flocking to EPL and the Community Shields game between Manchester United and Chelsea attracts 84000 visitors at Wembley stadium, I expect EPL games to become more exciting to watch than ever.
2010-2011 EPL season will be very interesting and competitive. Arsenal keeps their golden boy Cesc Fabergas, Van Persie in shape and hungry for any trophy. Manchester City brings the best players, Spurs making it for Championship league, Manchester United opens the season with a win against the defending EPL champions. Liverpool FC with a new coach and restructuring the team, may not be as competitive to claim the top four spot but too good to count them out.
I still believe EPL is the best league to watch. Don't get me wrong I still like La Liga even though Barca and Real Madrid controlling the league. As a ManU fan, I was impressed by Xavier H. (Chicharito), the evergreen Paul Scholes and D Berbatov. I would not lie, I was very happy ManU beat Chelsea to get the first trophy of the season and to send a message they are the force to reckon with.
