Baro Got Talent

It was memorable Saturday evening at Gojo Ethiopian restaurant, homeboys dancing and making tribute to the legendary Michael Jackson.
I arrived around 11:30 PM from my monthly get together party. The DJ was working thru Ethiopian music and some oldies. I saw the usual suspects drinking and socializing. Later I joined the crowd and ordered a glass of Hennessy. When I went to say hi to DJ Belay, two of our own were shaking in it on the dance floor. Wow! Does Baro have Talent? It was the battle of the ages: the Old versus the Not Old. DJ Belay saw the contestants dancing and prancing, and put Michael Jackson’s thriller CD. Here came the dancing competition: the moon walk, the thriller dance, the werewolf moves. The audiences loved the contestants and applauded them. One of the dancers saluted the audience and thanked. I stayed a little bit longer till I finish my drink and I left. I was thinking where was this talent hidden for years? And I say “Baro Got Talent”
